Our farm is equipped with a packaging department, the so called of IV° range. After a rough washing and a first cooling, spinach are carried to the manufacturing department. We husk, wash, dry and package spinach in special bags in order to maintain the organoleptic characteristics. Now the product is carried in a cold store and is ready to be sent. All manufacturing stages have place in special rooms with an even-temperature always under 12 °, in order to respect the frost chain in any stage. |
